The School 
The Pine Valley School of Karate has been operating in Hoosick Falls since April of 1999.Class meets one night a week and is held in the hall of the Hoosick Falls Joint Fire District. Class starts at 6:30 pm on Tuesdays and runs for 2 hours.

The Teacher 
Sensei Donald L. McCabe (Sensei@PineValleyKarate.com) is a life long resident of Hoosick Falls. He has trained with the Triangle School of Karate under the tutelage of Sensei Martin Davis, since 1984. He received  Shodan (1st degree Black Belt) in October 1991. He continued training and in February 2006 was promoted to Yondan (4th degree Black belt). He presently continues training with the Cambridge Valley Martial Arts in conjunction  with teaching the Pine Valley School of Karate. Cambridge Valley Martial Arts is the Honbu Dojo of Practical System of Martial Arts


Pine Valley School of Karate's teaching staff is complimented by 2 talented assistants:
    Sensei Steven Gifford, Sandan (3rd degree black belt)
   Sensei Lisa McCabe, Nidan (2nd degree black belt)
   


 On October 10, 2007, Sensei Lisa became the 4th generation black belt actively training in the schools association, Practical System of Martial Arts. She is preceded by her teacher, Sensei Donald McCabe (her husband), Sensei Martin Davis (Sensei Don's teacher) and Shihan Louis Stanishia (Sensei Davis' teacher).
